Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? - John 12:3-5

Spikenard, also known as nard, is a scent that is mentioned in the Scriptures and was used in Israel and throughout the Middle East.

Very expensive in biblical times, spikenard was used by Mary to anoint the feet of Jesus in honor of his future death, burial, and resurrection (John 12:3). The value of that spikenard today would be worth $350.

The 0.6 fluid ounce perfume comes from Israel in a 3" glass container with atomizer and is one of the most valued items for gifts at Christmas. Here at the ministry, hundreds are requested. It is a gift that ladies most appreciate.
