In 1962-1963, the Supreme Court removed prayer and Bible reading from public schools. In 1973, the Supreme Court legalized abortion on demand in Roe v. Wade. As a result of that decision, nearly 60 million unborn babies have been slaughtered in this country. In 2001, Congress passed the Patriot Act, which has shredded the Bill of Rights and has propelled our country toward a police state. In 2013, U.S. government officials, from the president on down, are working furiously to confiscate guns from law-abiding American citizens.

What do all of these satanic assaults have in common? They went mostly unopposed by Christians in America.

David Schnittger believes that one of the reasons why Christians did not resist these assaults is because most pastors did not inform and mobilize God's people to resist evil.

In this month's Prophetic Observer, David condemns pastors who are more concerned about being "politically correct" and not offending people instead of standing up strongly and defending biblical values and how these pastors are responsible for the moral decline and depravity in the United States

The conflict of the ages is resurfacing in America with a vengeance. The hedge of protection has been taken down. Shockingly, the professing church sees nothing wrong with this evil exchange. If willful ignorance were an asset, the modern church would be exemplary.

Do we dare blame the evils of Christian cleansing on the lateness of the eschtological hour, or do we blame it on the indolence and timidity of the contemporary Christian community?

Larry Spargimino looks at so-called modern "Christian" America and how it is failing to influence our society and our country, and how this failure is impacting the lives of every American.
