PROPHETIC OBSERVER

The Prophetic Observer is one of our monthly publications. Each month Rev. Noah Hutchings or a guest columnist examines a topic or event that relates to the fulfillment of end-time prophecies. Although current events may seem trivial and unimportant to many, Christians know that these events are fulfilling the prophecies which are hastening the soon coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But the United States may already be a de facto sharia state. Noah Hutchings contends that our Constitution and freedom of speech and religion are in grave danger unless patriotic Americans stand up.

Recent Election Results: What is the message of the recent elections in November? Were the American people trying to send a message? Larry Spargimino says that the elections were a step in the right direction but only a first step. Much work needs to be done in order to return our country to God and to the principles of our Founding Fathers.

Can Our Broken Republic Be Fixed?: In his July 4, 2010 address, Dr. Charles Stanley stated without qualification that our nation is in the greatest danger it has ever faced since 1776. He said the United States is on the verge of becoming like Russia or China.

Without the fearless actions of patriotic Christians like Samuel Adams and John Hancock, and the fearless pastors who comprised the Black Regiment, there would not have been a United States of America. Unless there is a new moral revolution against what is happening in our nation today in the churches of this land, what Dr. Stanley warned of will certainly come to pass.

Taxes and Illegal Immigrants: Both presidents George Bush and Barack Obama have said that we should open our arms and coffers to those that creep into our country illegally. Bush said it was good for America because these people would work at jobs that Americans would not do.

Barack Obama seems to have another objective: to water down the status quo in order to dilute our moral system to allow a socialist takeover. Both have the same result - the loss of the country that we love and cherish.

Unmasking the Mosque: New York City plans to allow the building of a mega-mosque across from the site where 3,000 Americans died in a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. The mayor of New York City thinks there is nothing wrong with building a mosque across from the 9/11 site.

Larry Spargimino investigates those who are behind the building of this mega-mosque and instead of a religion of peace he finds a Trojan horse.

Obama's Relentless Attack on Christian Values: No president in American history has shown as much contempt for the Christian faith as Barack Obama. President Obama has chastised the black community and called it "homophobic."

Dr. Levon Yuille, pastor of Bible Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan for more than thirty years, lists some of the anti-Christian actions President Obama has supported and made law since taking office.

Goodbye WASP=Goodbye USA: White Anglo-Saxons first settled the United States. They came to escape religious and political oppression from dictatorial and state religious systems in Europe.

Gradually other religions and races came to this nation. Nevertheless, without controversy, it has been the white Anglo-Saxon Protestants who settled this nation, wrote our laws, founded our churches, and formed our moral codes of behavior.

This is not to downgrade or cast any demeaning aspersions to any person of any religion or race. However, the propaganda coming from high governmental, religious, racial, and ecclesiastical circles is that we are supposed to be ashamed that we are white Anglo-Saxon Protestants.

The white Anglo-Saxon Protestant population in the United States has fallen from 80 percent representation in Congress to only 25 percent. Is this the reason why we now have crazy laws passing Congress, why the Supreme Court has legislated God out of our public school system, and why homosexuals are now telling us what we can and cannot do and say?

Shades of Belshazzar: Daniel 5 relates the story of an unknown who came to power in Babylon. The Bible says he was the son of Nebuchadnezzar, but was more likely his grandson. He evidently had no experience at ruling anything, but was good at organizing parties.

He was given Babylon because of his loyalty to his ruling dynasty. He never asked for advice before making a decision; pride was his guide. He thought he could do no wrong and that the entire kingdom was there for his pleasure.

Bob Glaze examines the striking parallels between the young ruler of Babylon and our current president of the United States.

THE TRIBULATION "CHURCH"

We know that there will be a one-world religious order during the seven-year Tribulation period. Some call that system the "Tribulation Church." But will it really be a church?

From the time the United States was established as a nation, our country has had a very pro-Jewish, pro-Israel stance based on Genesis 12:1-3 and other scriptures. Many of our presidents, including George Washington, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Ronald Reagan expressed their support for the Jewish people.

When the modern State of Israel was refounded as nation on May 14, 1948, the United States only waited 11 minutes before recognizing this miraculous fulfillment of end-times Bible prophecy.

However, the United States' relationship with Israel has been slowly changing over the last 20-30 years. Our current president's blatantly harsh treatment of our only reliable ally in the Middle East has raised concerns among friends of Israel.

We must pray that God will raise up godly men and women as our leaders who will restore our historic relationship with Israel.

Jesus warned Israel against following the example of Sodom and Gomorrah. Throughout Scripture, God warns that any nation that does has signed its death warrant.

Homosexuals in Africa think that having sexual relations with a virgin will cure AIDS and sexual crimes like rape against children and teenagers on that continent have skyrocketed. Recently, the country of Uganda passed a law to prevent the spread of AIDS to protect teenage boys and girls. Churches in Uganda supported this law.

Rick Warren blasted Uganda for this law and the Ugandan churches for supporting it. "The freedom to make moral choices and to free expression are gifts endowed by God. . .I urge you, the pastors of Uganda, to speak out against this proposed law," Warren said.

This Prophetic Observer publishes the response of the Ugandan churches to Rick Warren, including their demand for an apology from the megachurch pastor.

The Health Care Crisis About Which Few Speak: It has become fashionable for politicians to wax eloquent in their tirades against the evils of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and now even trans fats and sugar. How many are willing to expose the connection between same-sex relationships, AIDS, and a host of other health problems?

Larry Spargimino presents clear medical facts that prove homosexual relationships are not only unnatural, but dangerous to one's health.

National Health Care Crisis and the Antichrist: In the book of Revelation, the Apostle John wrote about the "mark" that would identify those who would follow the Antichrist and in so doing, would deny the Lord Jesus Christ.
