One of the events that interests students of prophecy is the
rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. The Antichrist will make his
appearance there and proclaim himself to be God.

But before the Antichrist reveals himself in the rebuilt Temple, the
true Church will be removed from the earth in what is known as the
Rapture or translation of the saints.

Certain basic things need to be known before the Temple can be
rebuilt: the length of the sacred cubit, the size of the biblical bath,
the weight of the Temple talent, and the whereabouts of the Ark of the
Covenant.
