    If the booming sales of panic rooms is any indication, more and more city dwellers these days are obsessively worrying about everything from home invasions to terror attacks. And they are backing up those worries with cold, hard cash. They are buying acreage in the country—and building bunkers.

    Russia is preparing to test a nuclear weapon and missile delivery system it claims is so powerful it could reportedly destroy a nation in seconds. The “Satan 2” missile is rumored to be the most powerful ever designed and is equipped with stealth technology to help it dodge enemy radar systems.

    Capable of carrying a dozen or so warheads, it could destroy an area “the size of Texas or France,” the broadcaster announced.

    The greatest minds of the industrial/military complex have been actively working over the past century to develop ever increasingly destructive weapons. Indeed, human civilization as we now know it, is in peril.

    In Psalm 139:14 the psalmist says: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Some might want to change it: “I will praise thee; for I am frightfully and wonderfully made.”

    One of the truths of the Bible is that God loves us just as we are. He calls us to faith and repentance, but He loves us as we are.

    Evidently, transgenders don’t believe that. They are dissatisfied with the way they are made. They want to improve on God’s design. After the so-called improvement, they look like they can say: “I am frightfully and wonderfully made.”
