Prayer Request – Lisa – 12/04/2025

Please pray for my marriage. My husband and I argue constantly. There is no peace in our home, we hold grudges, we holler at each other and there is no intimacy. My husband is the Pastor of our church and everyone thinks he is this great husband, but he puts members before me, he has admitted to having issues with showing emotions and comes from an extremely abusive background. He thinks he is healed because he’s born again, but he is not healed. He can be harsh, cold, distant and very, very critical. While I am not perfect (I can be easily offended, get very angry and lash out with mean words, withhold sex)- I recognize that we need therapy, but of course he refuses. Please pray for us (his name is Charles)- we need it desperately, if this marriage is going to survive.
