Twenty-two years later, he returns as a missionary to the underground church only to be arrested as a suspected CIA operative by the communist authorities. After nearly two weeks of interrogation and detainment, he was expelled and blacklisted. The authorities warned if he ever returned to Vietnam, he would be imprisoned. However, 14 years later, he received a call from the U.S. Embassy in Saigon. Someone had been searching for him for four decades.
